A day boating with our family :)

We had a spectacular day on the water with everyone. Pa even came, which made it extra special. We also met another adoptive bi racial family at the boat launch and switched numbers. Really cool!

JUMP Gig Harbor, WA

There is this awesome indoor playground that they love to go to called JUMP. It is full of bouncy houses and mats and balls and slides. We took all three rascals there and packed a healthy lunch. Watching the fun unfold is the best part of the day (besides my morning coffee). Enjoy the pics.

A hummingbird in our home...

We had the french doors wide open, and it flew into the house and perched on a ceiling beam.  I know it was scared as it actually look like it was shaking :(  Zack took it in his hands and it cried like a little puppy.  Ever heard a hummingbird cry?  Saddest sound on earth...  He let it free and it flew away, what an experience!  It is not all that often you get to see one so up close and personal.  After it happened, Zack and I agreed we needed to write a poem or something we were both so moved :)

A beautiful Sunday

Katie and Isadora came to visit from Seattle :) We had a great time and the day was beautiful. Walks, food, laughs and stories. Couldn't have been better :)

Saturday July 9, 2011

Ari came over today to play :)  We love having him here, and I know Solomon wishes he could stay forever.  Summertime is here and the kids are busy being kids.  I will let the pictures tell the story (and the captions)

not happy with the pushing!

A regular day, isn't that nice?

Woke up, had coffee alone :) Exercised, "smoothied" it up, drove Paty to the YMCA, took kids to discovery village, went to Costco, came home, made lunch, played, Yaya showed up, Paty took the kids marching, then we all went out for dinner at Kinza Teryaki.  Where, it just so happened Gam and Ari had just left!  Stopped by Gam's to welcome them back to the harbor from Whidbey Island, came home, pajama and teeth time then bed.  Now I am just sitting here savouring the clean silence of my house...

Seriously, I am one lucky Mama.

July 7, 2011

Our trip was really fun. We are now back in chilly Gig Harbor (it's only 61 degrees here). Brad is away on business and it's just Paty the kids and I. More tomorrow... For now I am in my massage chair :)
Oh yeah, Emily left for Australia with Vanessa today!
